The subject matter of this unit of learning was that students would explore Lucian Freud's work using it as inspiration for their own creation.

Students made informed choices of facial expressions, palette, and background colours to portray their emotions on starting first year of secondary school. This unit helped students become more in touch with their feelings, bond well with each other and reflect on how the felt initially compared to how they feel now.
